Welcome to our specialized yoga class designed specifically for massage therapists! This unique class is tailored to help massage therapists enhance their strength, flexibility, and longevity in their career.
Benefits of the Class
In this class, we focus on addressing the specific physical and mental demands of the massage therapy profession. The practice of yoga offers numerous benefits that directly complement the needs of massage therapists:
Enhanced Strength: Through a series of asanas (yoga postures) and sequences, this class aims to strengthen the muscles and improve overall body strength. This is particularly beneficial for massage therapists as it can help them maintain proper posture and body mechanics while performing massages, ultimately reducing the risk of strain and injury.
Improved Flexibility: Flexibility is crucial for massage therapists to effectively perform various massage techniques without putting undue stress on their own bodies. Our yoga class incorporates stretches and poses that target key muscle groups, helping to increase flexibility and range of motion, which can in turn enhance the quality and longevity of a massage therapist's career.
Stress Relief and Longevity: Massage therapy can be physically and mentally demanding. Our yoga class offers relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, and meditation practices that can help massage therapists manage stress, improve mental clarity, and cultivate resilience. By incorporating these practices into their routine, massage therapists can enhance their overall well-being and sustain their careers with vitality and longevity.

Ayurveda has a long history of using healing scents, and considers aroma as an important tool for prevention and healing.
Likewise, Aromatherapy massage and acupressure is a widely used technique that allows essential oils to be absorbed by the body for healing both physically and energetically.

Partner Yoga is about giving and receiving. It's not about size, but intention. Trusting another person deepens self-trust. Partner Yoga shows the beauty of interdependence while supporting each other. Touch is also important in partner Yoga, as it enhances performance and allows for deeper poses.
After an introduction, some breathwork, and a partner meditation exercise, we will slowly work through a sequence of partner asana or poses. To conclude we will end in Savasana, and receive a small offering of sound healing. When we have grounded into the present moment, there will be an optional tea social and tasty bites (ojas balls).
